Cory Kirchner is a 2027 OF/P/CI with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Spring Hill, KS who will attend Spring Hill High School, lean build with square shoulders, a high waist and plenty of physical projection remaining. Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance and high back elbow set. Knee lift trigger to get the front side closed, uphill swing path generating a lot of power. Has young bat speed which should get better as he gets stronger. Primary outfielder, who can also play corner infield, fields the ball to the side with one hand, clean exchange with a compact arm action to a high three-quarters release point. Strong arm strength and accurate with long hops directly to the bag. Solid, fundamentally sound actions in the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, quick leg lift to balance right at his chest, compact arm circle in the back to a high three-quarters release with good arm speed. Front side stays engaged for a while down the slope, showing good command of the baseball to both sides. Should get better in all phases as he adds strength to the frame. Good student.
