Coach Rocky Orton

Coach Rocky is in his 7th year at MidAmerica Nazarnene University. He started the MNU Women's Soccer program and has had great success reaching the Regional Finals 3 times. Coach Orton grew up playing soccer in Oklahoma and has played for 30 years. He also played 6 years professionally in the USISL. He has coached High School Girl's soccer and Premier soccer clubs for 19 years in Oklahoma and Kansas. He also currently coaches with the KC Outlaws Soccer Club. He holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma. Coach Orton graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology, and went on to get a Graduate degree from Webster University in Counseling Psychology. Coach Orton is married to Marlo, and has 2 daughters, Kenedy and Shelby.

"I am extremely excited and pleased to be a part of the Outlaws Soccer Club. I believe it is one of the most organized and well run clubs in the city. My philosophy is to teach soccer in an exciting and fun format for all players that participate. Two of my favorite things to hear, and what I strive for as a coach, is when players tell me they love coming to practice because it is so much fun, and then parents of those players tell me how much improvement they are seeing. Teaching and soccer are two of my passion, so I believe as a member of the Outlaws Soccer Club I fit its philosophy."
