We've been a part of the Kansas City soccer scene for many years. We've seen it all. Three children and 5 soccer clubs later, the Outlaws are the best yet! All clubs have their strengths and weaknesses, but the Outlaws are by far the best all around soccer club in the Kansas City area. |

Kindest Kansas Citian
To me Coach Ken is my Kindest Kansas Citian because he has taught me so much about soccer and about believing in myself. I first met Coach Ken when he asked me to join his new division eight soccer team. The name we picked out for the team was Outlaws. In the beginning we had Olivia, Taylor, Megan, Elizabeth, Brianna, Ashley, Bailey, Hailey and me, Hannah.
Coach Ken has taught me a lot of foot skills. Some of them I did not get, so he would take me away from the others and teach me those skills independently. When I would say, “I can’t do it”, Coach Ken would say, “Never say you can’t do something.” He has always had faith in me. When I would ask, “Is this how you do the skill?” He has always been honest with me and will tell me if I am doing the skill wrong, instead of just saying, oh yeah you’re doing it perfect.
Thanks to Coach Ken, I am going to be on the Outlaws premier team. He has helped me to accomplish my goals. That’s why I am nominating my coach, Coach Ken. |

Coach Ken & Kathy,
Thank you so much for the email inviting Syd back for another year with the Outlaws club. Our experience in the last couple of years has been nothing short of wonderful. Syd has learned so much, and continues to improve all the time. With three daughter's playing competitive sports, we have been exposed to many different coaches, and coaching styles over the years. I believe that Coach Ken is truly the best. His understanding of the fundamental skills needed and knowledge of the game is obvious in his ability to teach and communicate effectively to young kids. His excitement and passion for each individual player's continued success is unmatched. Sydnie absolutely loves Coach Ken. With that said, we will definitely accept the invitation for Syd to be a part of the Outlaw's Club for another year. She will be thrilled to be a part of the team once again.
Ken, thanks for another great year! Syd is lucky to be part of such a great organization. Kathy, thank you for all that you do for the team! |
