Parent and Player Commitment
Parent and Player Commitment
Outlaws club requires a commitment from players and parents to the team or teams for which you are selected. The following is an overview of guidelines set by The Outlaws Soccer club. Please read them carefully and sign below.
• Your commitment is to attend practices, games and tournaments (if any), as well as pay for games, trainers and tournaments for which you have committed.
• Attendance is very important. Our trainers/coaches are provided to help your child be the best player that they can be. If you don’t attend practices and games, you are letting your team down and making it difficult for Outlaws club to become a competitive club.
• Our trainers/coaches are paid by the number of players signed up for that session. If your child attends one practice or one game in a session, you are still responsible to pay for the entire session.
• Once a player has participated in a session, payment will not be refunded.
• Payment is due on time to enable ample time to register teams in there respective leagues.
• If your child is going to drop, please notify the club director in writing at least one month prior to next scheduled session.
• If practice is canceled due to inclement weather, Outlaws club will reschedule that practice if possible (sometimes practices canceled due to weather will not always be able to be made up).
• Guest players will not be charged a training fee for practices prior to tournaments.
• If a player wishes to or is asked to participate on two teams, the player will be responsible for a second league fee only.
• ANY PLAYER that wishes to participate in Outlaws training, but is not a selected member of the club, may only do so by contacting the director and arranging payment.
The Outlaws Soccer Club Financial Commitment
• Competitive soccer is not cheap. It requires a large financial as well as time commitment from the parents.
• Competitive soccer is a luxury rather than a necessity. If the cost will be a financial burden, The Outlaws Soccer Club urges you to carefully consider all of your financial obligations before adding this commitment.
• The Outlaws Soccer Club must have available funds to meet certain due dates. Unfortunately most payments are required up front in return The Outlaws Soccer Club must ask for these payments up front as well.
• Collection of all fees and payment of all expenses will be handled by the Outlaws Soccer Club treasurer rather than by an individual coach. This allows the coaches to spend needed time instructing your child. It also allows The Outlaws Soccer Club to maintain an organized financial stability.
• If you fail to pay your fees on time
- The coach cannot be paid your child’s portion of their monthly coaching salary
- The Outlaws Soccer Club who has already paid expenses up-front is placed in financial burden jeopardizing other club members.
-Other Outlaws club parent’s fees rise to cover past losses.
• All club dues are due on the first of the month.
• You are expected to pay in full and on time.
• An account will be considered past due if payment has not been received by the fifth day of the month.
• All players with balances remaining after the 5th of the month will be suspended from all league and tournament games.
• Any player whose account is past due will be assessed a $10 late fee and will remain suspended until payment arrangements have been made with club treasurer.
• A suspended player may not play in games (tournament or league) but is expected to attend practice.
• A suspended player is expected to attend all practices as normal.
• A suspended player may not participate in any club activities other than practice.
• Do not give your payments to your coach at practice or games. At this time their full attention should be directed toward your children. The Outlaws Soccer Club treasurer will perform record keeping only. (See guidelines)
•If you have a billing dispute, please pay all but the amount in question. Include a detailed note with your payment as to the amount in question. Only then will payment disputes be addressed.
•Team managers will be given a list after the fifth day of each month of their eligible and ineligible players.
•Payment delinquencies can effect player selection for upcoming seasons.
•Please help the Outlaws maintain an even cash flow. We must pay our coaches, equipment, league, and tournament commitments on time.
• Thank you very much for your timely commitment
